Brexit 29 March 2019

Given the recent developments in the United Kingdom (UK) regarding the refusal of the Brexit deal, we are preparing for a potential No Deal/Hard Brexit scenario.

Due to the uncertainty regarding Brexit and on proposal of the current designated authority SGS UK, Beldico decided to transfer its certificate MDD 93/42/EEC and ISO 13485 of the current authority of the United Kingdom UK SGS no. 120 to the Belgian branch SGS Belgium No. 1639. The transfer procedure has been requested and started. The transfer will be activated in the near future.

We will of course continue to closely monitor the still unknown consequences of the Brexit deal and will keep you informed if these unknown factors influence our commercial cooperation.
