World Breast Milk Donation Day

For a premature baby, breast milk can be vital.

In neonatology, it plays a vital role in the development, immunity and protection of the most vulnerable newborns.

When breastfeeding is not yet possible, donated breast milk and the work of breast milk banks become essential to ensure continuity of care.

To mark World Breast Milk Donation Day, we would like to thank all the donor mums, as well as the healthcare professionals who make this chain of solidarity possible every day.

Behind every donation lies much more than just a simple gesture: it provides vital support for the very young children who need it most.
